At Nuova Consonanza Festival of Rome, the Vittorio Calamani Philharmonic Orchestra, supported by AISICO
On 1st December in Rome, at Mattatoio – La Pelanda, the Vittorio Calamani Philharmonic Orchestra will make its debut at the Nuova Consonanza Festival with the concert Coincidenze.
Three pieces, composed in 2021 on the occasion of the Festival della Piana del Cavaliere, will be performed on texts by Dante Alighieri and Leonardo Sciascia:
- 27, Beste Özçelebi
- Un dì si venne a me malinconia, Livia Malossi
- Su spiri d’oro, Daria Scia
Concluding piece Simple Symphony op. 4, Britten.
The event is a co-prodution with Chigiana Academy in Siena, Gaudeamus Festival in Utrecht and Impuls Festival in Berlin.
Vittorio Calamani Philharmonic Orchestra, made up of professional musicians under 35, wants to qualify as a bearer of a positive contribution to the regional and Italian cultural heritage, linked to the enjoyment of classical music.
AISICO has supported this project since 2019, the year of its birth.
