SMART AND SAFE ROADS: The role of vehicle restraint systems

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ROAD SAFETY SECOND EDITION

The second edition of the International Road Safety Conference will take place on 29th and 30th September at our Test House & Lab in Pereto (AQ). An event co-organized with ERF – European Union Road Federation that will gather authoritative representatives of the sector, experts and professors.

The main objective is to analyze what is the key role of road restraint systems in smarter and safer roads of the future. “Smart and Safe Roads: the role of vehicle restraint systems” is in fact the theme of the two days.

The program is being defined, the sessions of the Conference are divided as follows:

• focus on the evolution of European and international standards to reflect on how to make roads smarter and safer at the same time;
• the point of view of roads and motorways operators, to understand what developments are underway and what they are planning for the next future;
• case studies of manufacturers on the most advanced and innovative solutions to make roads safer.

Different Crash tests are also planned.

AISICO, as promoter of the Vittorio Calamani Philharmonic Orchestra, a professional orchestra of young people under 35, will also offer a concert at the Church of San Giovanni in Pereto on the evening of 29th September.
